Recent projects
Below is a selection of past photography and videography projects that I’ve had the pleasure of working on.

As a commercial photographer, I work with a diverse client base - including small businesses, architects and interior designers, builders, suppliers and homeowners.
No two shoots are the same, and I enjoy the challenge of shooting new spaces and tackling new projects every week.
If you can’t find an example that fits the kind of thing you’re looking for, get in touch and I’ll be happy to share some specific examples of similar work.
In addition to my commercial work I’m also a keen traveller, and have created several photographic series from my travels across the globe.
Some examples of these can be found below, and many of my best images can be found on my print store.
Common Thread
I worked with Common Thread recently to photograph their amazing space for their entry into the industry awards. A very interesting space and an absolute blast to photograph!
One of my hero shots was even lucky enough to pick up a bronze award at the 2020 NZIPP Iris Awards!
Muriwai Residence
Muriwai Glass House is a destination home by Carnachan Architecture in Muriwai Beach, Auckland. Featuring open plan living, stunning views across the beach, and an emphasis on indoor-outdoor flow.
A State of the Art Community Centre in Westgate
Te Manawa Community Facility
Architect: Warren and Mahoney
Location: Westgate, Auckland
Within a stone’s throw from the Northwest Shopping Centre, the recently opened Te Manawa is one of the newest community centres for Auckland Council. It’s a fantastic space architecturally both inside and out.
My second-shooter Charlotte and I were lucky enough to be granted access to the space to capture a series of images, starting at the crack of dawn so that we could get that stunning early morning glow.
Special thanks to the amazing team members at Te Manawa who helped us to make the shoot possible.
Grand Landscaping in Remuera
We recently had the opportunity to work with the team at Jagas to create a brand video showcasing who they are and what they do for their clients.
As a part of crafting this video, we were able to photograph a great example of their hard work in action at this beautiful Remuera home..
With a combination of an interview with the owner of Jagas, some vibrant footage from their showroom, and a collection of stunning shots from the home, this video does a great job of showing who Jagas are as a team and what they can achieve.
Here’s what our clients said about this project:
“Thank you so much for being accommodating to all of our thoughts and for doing it in such a fast time frame.
The whole experience was made to feel stress-free and we are extremely happy with the final product.
I hope we have the chance to work with you both in the future, thanks again.”
The Striking Architecture of Minakami, Japan
Located in Gunma Prefecture, Minakami is a small and picturesque town in Japan.
Whilst travelling there recently, I was drawn to several of the abandoned hotels throughout the town. There’s little information on these hotels, but they sit proudly facing on to opposite banks of the Tone River.
The Vic Theatre, Devonport
As an ongoing personal project, I’ve been photographing many of the historic buildings around the village of Devonport in Auckland.
One of the more notable buildings is the famous Vic Theatre & Cinema at the northern end of the village - a longstanding part of the Devonport community and my local cinema as a kid.
The Vic were kind enough to let us document the space for our series, and we’re thrilled with the shots. Quite a nice challenge given the dark spaces and very precise lighting, but a rewarding challenge.
Science Building, University of Auckland
As part of a recent shoot for the International School Prospectus, we were asked to capture some images of the newly completed Science Building.
Having been opened only a few months prior, we were excited to have a look around and document the newest addition to the University of Auckland campus.
Bayleys Realty Group, Auckland
Bayleys Realty Group recently moved their head office into Bayleys House, their new home on Gaunt Street.
The morning of the move in, with the space finally complete, we were asked to come in before any of the team arrived and capture their new space, from the building itself to the spectacular interior. With perfectly clean work areas, and every space untouched, it was the perfect time to get it looking its best.
Launch Bay Open Day, Hobsonville Point
With the Hobsonville Point development sprinting towards completion, more and more regularly there are open days to announce a new section.
With a selection of heritage homes on the cliff face up for sale along side brand new builds, the Launch Bay area is set to be one of the more unique pockets of Hobsonville Point.
Development company, Winton, and Bayleys, the sales team for the project, asked us to come along and capture their launch event, where they opened the doors to their newest show home and the heritage buildings on the site.
With a mix of architectural shots to show off the potential of the development, and event style shots to show off the atmosphere, the images we captured really give you an idea of what the Launch Bay area will feel like when it’s all done.
The Grove - Sylvia Park’s New Dining Precinct
Sylvia Park is growing, expanding their spaces to include more dining, more shopping and now commercial space as well.
We recently shot ‘The Grove’, Sylvia Park’s newest dining precinct, as part of a collection of marketing imagery for a client of ours. The design of the space has been done incredibly well, making our job photographing it that much easier. Every angle you approach it from has interest to it, and it looked particularly great at twilight.
Go check it out the next time you’re down there!
Optometry Prospectus Images, University of Auckland
Recently I helped the University of Auckland’s School of Vision Sciences to create a collection of images that showcase the learning space, and the student experience in their program.
Sale St Facades, Auckland Central
This stunning construction in Sale Street is the newest piece of the skyline to admire while brunching up a storm at the nearby Cityworks Depot.
Arriving to shoot it the week construction was wrapping up, we got the first look through and it was completely worth it. With a clean, modern design, it is a sleek and elegant space both inside and out.
